These adjustable tension rods are available in slim 1.3cm and standard 2.2cm diameters for light curtains, wardrobes, shelves and other suitable indoor uses. They install by spring tension between two opposing surfaces, so no drilling is normally required.
Choose the Rod Type
1.3cm slim rod: stated maximum load up to 2kg.
2.2cm standard rod: stated maximum load up to 5kg.
Available Lengths
Depending on diameter and stock, fitting ranges include approximately 18–27cm, 55–90cm, 63–110cm, 83–150cm, 105–190cm, 135–250cm and 155–290cm.
Installation
Measure the distance between the two surfaces first. Select a rod range that covers that distance, then extend the rod slightly longer than the gap and compress it into place. Check that both end pads sit firmly before loading.
Important
Actual holding strength depends on the surface, extension length and correct installation. Use these rods only within the stated load guide and for suitable light-duty applications.
