The metal rod is 2.5cm diameter and the white rubber head is 5cm diameter.

 

The two included rubber pads are different. The rubber pad with bigger diamater is meant to be inserted at the end with the white plastic. Whereas, the pad with smaller diameter will be inserted at the other end of the metal rod.

 

When install the rod, extend the rod slightly longer than the distance of walls. Then, stick one end of the rod to the wall and then another end slant a bit and against the wall.
